Australia Student Visa

If you intend to study in Australia for more than 4 months you will need to apply for a student Visa!

A student visa provides you with a temporary resident visa and is usually valid for the duration of your nominated course. After you have completed your studies, you will be required to depart Australia by the date specified on your visa, unless you make a valid application for another temporary or permanent residency visa in Australia.

Apply for Australian Residency - Graduate Students
Students who complete a course of study in Australia may be eligible to apply for Australian Permanent Residency under the Skilled Migration Program visas.

If you have recently completed a course of study in Australia and are seeking Australian permanent residency, you must apply for a visa within six months of the completion of your course.

If you do intend to apply for your Permanent Residence, you do not need to wait until you have completed your studies to find out the legal requirements for applying for a Permanent Visa, in fact, we encourage you to seek advice and assistance and find out if you qualify now.

We encourage you not to wait until you have graduated - if you have completed your course or are about to complete your course you may be eligible.
